For the public spaces of the new luxury high-rise Jade Condominium, the owners wanted a space that was a reflection of the modern tropical Florida. In the breathtaking lobby, custom designed glass art sculptures are suspended from the 30 ft ceilings, water flows down stainless steel columns to the calacatta marble and slate floors. The focal point 38 ft curved reception desk in a mixture of warm amber tortoiseshell leather and Japanese ash is contrasted by the wall above created from cool stainless steel and acid etched jade glass. The overall effect reflects the new urban contemporary style of the building's architecture.
